We spent two days exploring Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary on foot and by bicycle. He has been to 100 countries and climbed the highest mountains in Africa, Europe, South America and North America – four of the Seven Summits. The scenery is lush and green, allowing for haze-free photos, and given Eswatini’s tiny size, game is rarely too hard to spot.

To avoid unnecessary driving, I recommend splitting your stay between the quiet plateau of Siteki and the cultural heartbeat of the Ezulwini Valley. The town itself has a laid-back vibe, with friendly locals and a few small markets to explore.

There are a lot of beautiful places to visit in Swaziland that offer adventurous and unique things to do. Attending the traditional Reed Dance Ceremony in Eswatini is a unique and exciting cultural experience. Visit this museum in combination with the nearby King Sobhuza II Memorial Park if you’re interested in getting a deeper understanding of Eswatini’s national culture and history. Execution Rock lies within (and is accessible from) Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. I didn’t stay at the hotel in the Botanical Gardens myself, but I did enjoy a delightful tapas lunch at the restaurant of Summerfield Resort, which is known as one of the best restaurants in Eswatini.

When To Visit Eswatini
That is a separate area in the Hlane National Park that is only accessible to tourists that book a guided game drive. The nice thing about Ndlovu Camp in Hlane is the presence of a water pool where you regularly spot hippos or rhinos coming to drink as well as several birds like storks and Hamerkop.
